I authored the popular Red Sox comic-blog "The Soxaholix" for 13 years. The Soxaholix was well received by the Red Sox fandom, and I garnered some noteworthy critical acclaim, including a feature article about the comic in the Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/2h02OgI), where strip was described as "Part Doonesbury, part Bill James, part graduate seminar in literature." In addition, my Red Sox writing gave me the chance to appear as myself in the HBO movie "The Curse of the Bambino." In truth, I started The Soxaholix on a lark, figuring I might do it for one season, as I really wanted to use the comic strip format to see if I could write dialog that people would want to read with a long range plan to eventually move that skill to my real goal of writing a novel. And that's where I am today, 30,000 words into an adventure romance novel that I hope has some good dialog and a page turning story.
